Care for the Community’s Most Vulnerable
Throughout the Scriptures, God calls his people to care for those who are most vulnerable: the orphan, the widow, the poor and the immigrant. As a church, we’re striving to serve those people faithfully and strategically through City Serve Teams. These teams are formed around regular, scalable, kingdom-aligned opportunities for us to seek the welfare of our neighbors with our heads, hearts and hands.
We invite people to support our mission by serving our community as part of one of these teams. Our hope is to continue adding City Serve Teams in other neighborhoods and communities in Southwest Ohio. We also have Village Serve Teams, which are groups of servants who support our mission by serving the church.
Want to Serve?
Let us know which team you’re interested in, and we’ll put you in touch with their points of contact. We’d love to hear from you!
Where Can I Serve?
Every month we open up The 210 for the young mothers and leaders of YoungLives to gather for a meal, community, and encouragement. Beyond setting up our space for them, there are other opportunities to serve, mentor, and engage the teen moms who are part of this group.
The Father’s House is a local non-profit organization dedicated to transform a historic orphanage into a community for families who are committed to fostering and adopting children. There’s always work to be done as the property continues to undergo major renovations.
A number of families regularly prepare, deliver, and serve meals at Haven House, an emergency shelter in downtown Hamilton committed to providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to homeless children and families.
