Students are just as much a part of the family and the mission as anyone else.
A time tailored just for 7th-12th graders wanting to learn about who they are, who God is, and how the answers to both of those questions give them identity, community, and purpose.
Beginning September ’18
Every Week (Day TBD)
Youth Room @ The 210
Want to Volunteer?
If you’d like to serve our students, contact Pastor Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re actively recruiting:
- Qualified men and women who love teaching 7th-12th graders.
- People who enjoy planning games, snacks, and social events.
- Table leaders who have a heart for shepherding students.
Interested volunteers may be subject to background checks, training, and other vetting to ensure the safety of our students and the competency of our leaders.
We also hope students:
Part of the Family. Part of the Mission.
students formed by the gospel and sent on mission
Why do we have Student Ministry?
Why is student ministry important? Because students are important! VSM isn’t our way of trying to “keep teenagers in church.” Our teenagers ARE the church. While we encourage our students to grow, serve, and connect at The Village like others do, we also know that junior high and high school can carry their own unique sets of situations, stresses, opportunities, and relationships.
Village Student Ministries is aimed helping 7th-12th graders understand who they are, who God is, and how both of those things give them identity, community, and purpose that’s bigger and better than what the world around them might say.
