Romans

“It is impossible to meditate on this letter too much or too well.”

These words from Martin Luther about the book of Romans echo the voices of many others who would call this letter “purest gospel.” There’s so much to be found in its pages – back-and-forth Q&A, unpacking of the Old Testament, worship, systematic theology, practical instruction – that the riches of Paul’s writings to disciples in Rome could be mined forever. This study can’t possibly hand you everything you could possibly take away from Romans, but we hope it does give you an enjoyment of and fascination with this letter – and God’s Word as a whole! – that makes you hungry for more.

What should I expect?

We want to build up your confidence, competence, and appetite for reading and studying the bible. Whether this is your first bible study or your fiftieth, we all get to gather, learn, and grow together as the church that God has built and by the Spirit that he’s put in each of us. Don’t let past experience (or inexperience!) in bible studies keep you from participating in this one. Register today!

Our study nights will include a combination of interactive teaching time, group discussion, and personal reflection. There are no materials to purchase or pickup, but we do encourage you to to read, study, and chew on upcoming chapters during the week. No matter your skill level, you’ll get out of it what you put into it! Just bring your bible, something to take notes with, and curiosity.
