Above All Hard Work
(Colossians 1:24-2:5)

Main Idea:
We get to do the hard work of bringing good news to real people.

  1. Church work is hard work. (1:24-27)

  2. Church work is Jesus’ work. (1:28-29)

  3. Church work is good work. (2:1-5)

 
 

Reflect | Repent | Respond

  1. Are you more eager to encourage than you are concerned about the cost? Why or why not?

  2. How are you struggling for others in the flesh?

    > How would you know if it’s Jesus’ power at work?

  3. How are you struggling for others in spirit?

    > Prayer? Preparation? Asking the Lord for work?

  4. Is the mystery of Christ in you [still] surprising?

    > Dwell on the simple gospel that’s yours to receive!
