Above All Counterfeit Faith
(Colossians 2:16-23)

Main Idea:
Living in Christ means rejecting counterfeit Christianity.

It’s not from Jesus just because…

  1. …it sounds Christian. (v. 16-17)

  2. …it seems spiritual. (v. 18-19)

  3. …it gets results. (v. 20-23)

 
 

Reflect | Repent | Respond

  1. Is there judgment you’ve let pass into your heart?
    > If so, what is it? Why did you accept it?
    > How is God preaching the gospel to you today?

  2. Do you feel like you’re lacking in spiritual things?
    > If so, what are they? What difference has it made?
    > Are you prone to pursue things not from God?

  3. Ask God to reveal ways you’ve been relying more on Christian things than on Christ himself lately.

  4. What is the gospel freeing you to do differently?
