Light in Contrast
(1 Samuel 3:1-14)

Main Idea:
It’s through the contrast of dark that light shines to make God known.

-

The contrast – to see or not to see…

  1. …God’s Word. (v.1)

  2. …God’s call. (v.2-9)

  3. …God’s judgment. (v.10-14)

Reflect | Repent | Respond

  1. Where has God been at work in ways that you haven’t been able to see Him?

    >> How did he make things clear?

    >> How did he make himself known?

    >> Where might God be doing that, even right now?

  2. When were you blind to God’s word?

    >> What did God use to make his word known?

  3. When has God’s call (or judgment) been confusing?

    >> Have there been moments where he shined light of clarity through the contrast of darkness in your story or life?
