Hamilton’s annual fall festival, Operation Pumpkin, will be in full swing this weekend. Since the festivities are happening right in the heart of downtown, the city will have portions of a few major roads closed From Thursday night through Monday morning. This means that you might need to take a detour on your way to gather with us this Sunday!

The map above highlights the streets that will be blocked off and some alternative routes. Below is a blurb from the City of Hamilton:

Portions of High Street, Court Street, 2nd Street, and 3rd Street (marked in red) will be closed beginning on Thursday, October 7 at 8:00pm through Monday morning, October 11 at 5:00am for Operation Pumpkin. Downtown detours (highlighted in green) allow for traffic across the High-Main Bridge. However, we strongly encourage use of Columbia and Black Street Bridges during this time.

Be safe on your way to gather with us on Sunday, and be sure to stop by Operation Pumpkin this weekend!
