What the Near Future (Maybe?) Holds | Village Update

 

It’s been a whirlwind (figuratively and literally) around The 210 this week. While we won’t know much more until Monday, we’re moving into this weekend with a loose plan for the near future in mind. Here’s how we’re thinking the next week or two might pan out:

  • This Sunday, 2/25

A sermon Pastor Michael recorded from home will go live on our YouTube channel and Facebook Page at 10:15am. Even though we can’t all gather together under one roof, we can all gather together under the same Word. He’ll pick up where we left off in our series through 1 Samuel, Kingdom Come.

  • Worship Night, 2/28

If things progress as we hope, we’ll be able to start putting The 210 back together in the middle of next week. Because of that, we’re bumping back our worship night from Wednesday, 2/28, to Wednesday, 3/6.

  • Next Sunday, 3/3

We’re hoping to be back here in The 210 in two Sundays to celebrate new life in Christ with a few baptisms!

Obviously, these plans are subject to change. We might get news later this afternoon or late next week that makes us go back to the drawing board. But this is what we’re moving into this weekend hoping for!

One last note: we won’t bring people back here until we’re sure it’s safe. We’ll have clean floors, clean rugs, clean carpets, clean… everything! We’re certainly eager to get us all back together, but not at the unnecessary expense of health or safety. We’re working with the restoration company and the facility management to make sure all’s well.
