A Note About Today's Gathering | Primary Health Lobby

A note from Pastor Michael:

You may notice some extra chairs, people, and buzz in the upstairs (ground level) lobby today. The pharmacy on the 1st floor (Primary Health, who also owns 'our' building) will be giving COVID vaccines to folks today. The folks receiving vaccines will all be over 80 years old, and must "hang out for 20 mins after receiving the shot to make sure there are no allergic responses, etc." Those are the people you might see / pass by on your way in to The 210 this morning.

A Few Notes:

1. This has nothing to do with The Village, other than the fact that we are sharing space with the pharmacy. Normally they aren't in on Sundays, but today (and possibly some dates in the future) they are.

2. This is also NOT an opportunity for "walk-ins." That is, you won't be getting a vaccine today unless you are over 80 and already on the list. **please note: This is not an endorsement for vaccines, nor is it the opposite. It's simply conveying logistics of the day and aligning expectations about what you'll encounter as you walk in to the 210 this morning. ;) **

3. This is a great opportunity to be incredibly hospitable to those giving and receiving care at Primary Health; that is to say... we get to put Christ's love on display by simply being kind, warm, inviting humans.

All that to say, it's really no big deal. I just wanted to let you know there might be a few more people around - upstairs in particular - this morning.

Thanks!
