Beyond Micah | What's coming up?

Hey Village!

I hope you all tracked with us through the book of Micah. There are a million ways for us to lead through conversations about justice, but there's no more important voice nor better place for disciples to start than with God and his Word. While there's always more that we could dig into, I hope we did the book justice (pun very much intended!) through preaching, community group conversations, and discipleship guides.

As is true for every series, we hope you don't simply leave this one behind without giving it any further thought. Michael, Matt, and I will be having some more pointed conversations about justice (as well as politics and government) on the Formed & Sent Podcast in the coming weeks, and while there's no lack of things to discuss, we would love to know if you have any specific questions, topics, etc. you'd like us to address. You can send us those to us here.

All of life is discipleship. We hope you'll continue walking with us as we learn from, follow, and lead others to Jesus in all these things.... and more!

So now that we've wrapped up our series in Micah, what's next for our Sunday gatherings?

  • This Sunday (8/2) | Pastor Adam will be preaching a standalone sermon on John 1:1-18.

  • Next Sunday (8/9) | Pastor Scott will be kicking off a new series for us called He Is. You might remember that we ended 2019 with the series He Is / We Are, in which we unpacked some of the ways in which we're like God (communicable attributes). In He Is, we'll take a look at the ways in which God is unique from us (incommunicable attributes), starting with the fact that is infinite. You can check out the series setup for this series here.

Love you all! Looking forward to the weeks and months ahead.
