We want to help the church teach the Scriptures.
The local church is called to equip the saints for the work of ministry. One of the gifts we get to identity, train, and exercise is the gift of teaching.
Teaching can come in a variety of forms; everything from large crowds to crowded living rooms to quiet coffee shops can present an opportunity to open the bible and bring it to bear on someone’s life. Because the occasions for teaching - and even teachers themselves! - are all over the map, it’s helpful when our training reflects that.
The Village hosts a monthly Teaching Roundtable. Anyone who’s interested can join a conversation about a certain aspect of bible teaching led by a different Village teacher. It’s a great way to learn, be exposed to different perspectives, and hone your competency to crack open the bible and unpack what’s there.
We record an audio recap following each roundtable. Whether you’re catching up or refreshing your memory, these after-the-fact conversations are a great way to grasp the highlights of our time together. This ongoing podcast series will be updated after each roundtable. We hope you find them helpful!
