Growing Up in Grace
(1 Samuel 12:1-25)

Mature lives of faith give witness to grace.

GRACE LETS US LIVE AS IF…

  1. …people can’t outgrow the gospel.

  2. …the gospel doesn’t give up on people.

  3. …gospel people don’t give up on each other.

 
 

Reflection Questions

  • Do you treat the truth about your sin more like an enemy than your actual sin itself?
    > Why does having sin exposed feel worse than hidden sin?
    > How can God’s faithfulness in confession free you from that?

  • What do you live your life in response to more than grace?
    > Why does it seem bigger than God’s presence and power?
    > Can you imagine what it looks like for you to live differently?
    > Who in your life can hold out hope and help towards that?

  • Consider your relationships. Where’s reconciliation needed?
    > How can you let confession deepen your relationships?
