Annual Summer Picnic is on July 21st!

The Annual Village Summer Picnic is on Sunday, July 21st!

Instead of our normal Sunday gathering, we will gather outside (a few blocks away) at Symmes Park! There’s a playground, a basketball court and plenty of shade for a Village Picnic. Food will be provided by two trucks, providing a variety of chicken meals and personal pizzas (menus below).

WHEN: Sunday, July 21st at 10:30am-1pm. Lunch will be available after 11am! (menus below)

WHERE: Symmes Park - 401 South Third Street in downtown Hamilton. If you’re able bodied, please park where we normally park for a Sunday gathering and walk over to the park! It’s a quick 5 minute walk. However, there are some parking spots available on Third Street.

WHAT to bring: a blanket, chairs, extra (or different) food if you have any specific dietary restrictions. Any type of outdoor game you’d like to play - there’s a basketball court!

1st truck menu:
-Chicken tenders
-Corn dogs
-Chicken & waffles
-These meals come with fries, dessert and a water

2nd truck menu:
-Build your own personal pizza
-They will have a GF crust option!
-Pizza comes with dessert and a water

The local go team has invited anyone to help clean up Symmes Park this Saturday at 11:45am. It’s a great time to get to know people in the neighborhood while getting the space clean for our families to gather. Please let Kieh Kirby or Liv Lane know if you can help out!
