Weekend Gatherings Canceled | 1/15-1/16

Hey church!

A quick update about The Village's weekend activities: they're canceled! Saturday's Gospel Eldership class, our regular Sunday morning gathering, and The Bridge's Sunday evening gathering for students will not be held this week.

Why are they canceled? Well, in addition to the pervasive community spread of COVID, we continued to see even more positive cases specifically identified among Villagers throughout the week. Among those cases are members of three of our elders' families, with the fourth elder being out of town through Sunday. With no available pastors for the weekend and a number of other leaders and attenders quarantining or recovering, the combination of health concerns and logistical challenges leads us to forego our plans for the next few days.

What should you do Sunday? We know some other local churches who are in the same boat as us this weekend. If you don't want to venture out elsewhere, consider replaying a previous Sunday gathering that you may have missed! We'll evaluate where we all are and how we're all doing next week. In the meantime, we're praying for you and missing you. Despite not being at "full strength" at the moment, please let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or needs!
