About the Journal

The Red Tree Creative Journal is a celebration of the Village Arts group, a collection of local artists who gather monthly in downtown Hamilton, Ohio. From music to markers and pottery to poetry, this magazine reflects the creative intersection of faith and art that we inspire in one another and imagine for ourselves in ordinary life.

Our first issue represents the first two years of our small-but-growing group. Without any plans of putting together a publication like this, we stumbled into someting quite eclectic for our inaugural edition. Physical copies are available in limited quantities. Interested in submitting?

At this point, we’re not sure how often we’ll be publishing a journal. However, if you’d like to be considered for any future publication, you can submit pieces on a rolling basis using the following form.
