The Village strives to have a healthy culture of leadership. Below, you can read more about who our leaders are and who we believe leaders are within the local church. Character, competency, compatibility, and a trajectory of a deepening dependence on Christ are markers of healthy leaders, and we aim to spell that out.

With Jesus as our senior pastor, a plurality of biblically qualified elders shares the weight of shepherding the church together. In addition to living as faithful members of the church themselves, elders are also responsible for knowing, feeding, leading, and protecting the other Village members in their life of faith.

Deacons are qualified men and women who lead by recruiting, training, and supporting teams who carry out tasks, fulfill needs, and meet opportunities in the church and in the community. Because the scope of work carried out by deacons is so broad, we group them in three categories: Leadership (teams and tasks), Discipleship (making and maturing), and Missions (learning from and investing in).
