Serve Teams

You bring something to the table that otherwise wouldn’t be there.

Find a Place to Pitch In

We invite people to support our mission by serving the church itself or by serving as the church in our communities. Our Village Serve Teams focus on making things happen with and for the church throughout the week, while our City Serve Teams invest in our most vulnerable neighbors in the community.

If you’re interested in serving, check out the available teams below and use the online forms to let the right deacon or servant leader know that you want to know more about their team.

Village Serve Teams

Our Village Serve Teams focus on making things happen day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month within the church. Some teams serve on Sundays, while others lend a hand at other times throughout the week.

Facilitate worship through music during Sunday morning gatherings and other events.

Keeping a clean, safe, supplied, and orderly facility.

Building and implementing the processes and personnel for connecting visitors into the normal rhythms of Village life.

Bringing glory to God in all decision making, handling and development of The Village Church finances.

Hospitality (coffee bar +)

Providing hospitality primarily via the coffee bar as a tangible means of grace for visitors and members to easily connect before and after Sunday gatherings and during other Village events.

K-Ville (Sundays)

K-Ville teachers and helpers come alongside parents in raising kids through 6th grade in the gospel of Jesus during our Sunday morning gatherings.

Kid Care (non-Sundays)

Our Kid Care team provides childcare for Village events outside of Sunday mornings, such as Labs, Family Meetings, conferences and more.

Maintaining a safe and effective environment for the church to gather.

Overseeing the quality and effectiveness of digital and video-driven media during Sunday gatherings and other Village events.

Cultivating a culture of prayer within The Village through Sunday morning response volunteers and other means.

Overseeing the quality and effectiveness of the sound system and all that channels through it during Sunday gatherings and other Village events.

The Arts

Cultivating and environment that reflects the beauty of God through aesthetic, design, digital media, and the tone and vibe of The 210.

City Serve Teams

Our City Serve Teams bring the church together to care for the most vulnerable within our communities. These teams stay aware of needs, create opportunities, and organize regular efforts to make a difference.

Every month we open up The 210 for the young mothers and leaders of YoungLives to gather for a meal, community, and encouragement. Beyond setting up our space for them, there are other opportunities to serve, mentor, and engage the teen moms who are part of this group.

The Father’s House

The Father’s House is a local non-profit organization dedicated to transform a historic orphanage into a community for families who are committed to fostering and adopting children. There’s always work to be done as the property continues to undergo major renovations.

Haven House Emergency Shelter

A number of families regularly prepare, deliver, and serve meals at Haven House, an emergency shelter in downtown Hamilton committed to providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to homeless children and families.
