What is Rooted?
Rooted is a monthly women’s gathering that brings women together and grounds them in systematic theology that shapes their life. Topics generally span three months, and women from inside or outside The Village are welcome to join anytime. Just bring a bible if you have one!

Grounding Women in Systematic Theology:
Jesus & The Feasts of Israel
During this series, we’ll be studying some of the feasts of Israel and how Jesus used them to illuminate who he was and what he was doing. The Passion Week of Jesus leading up to his death, burial, and resurrection could have happened on any given week in any given year, but it just so happened to fall along a number of Jewish Feasts that carried significance many of us miss today. Join us as we learn about feasts like Unleavened Bread, Passover, and Pentecost and that we might see how Jesus fulfilled or embodied their historical and cultural meaning that carries weight for us today.
